![]() The concert series began in 2012 as daytime shows called Noon Tunes, but the schedule soon switched to evening programs. 9 will be a six-hour tribute to the 1969 Woodstock festival. As always, the closing concert on Saturday, Sept. Special programs will include tributes to the Beatles, the band Chicago, Bob Dylan, and Stevie Nicks. This year’s opening concert will feature “Dukes of Hazzard” singer and actor Tom Wopat, who’s a Lodi, Wis., native, along with his cousin, Dan Sebranek. ![]() Organizer Terry Bauer from Rotary said the lineup includes tribute bands and local groups, along with other well known La Crosse ensembles, such as the La Crosse Symphony and performers from Irishfest. The concert series at Riverside Park runs from 5:30-8 p.m. The schedule for the 2023 season of Moon Tunes is out. By the time the flood water leaves La Crosse’s Riverside Park, the bandshell will be ready for summer concerts. ![]()
